I’m Wasim Iqbal, an IT professional, web developer and digital entrepreneur based in Gurugram, India.
I build and run my own websites and online products. Some are business directories, some are GST verification tools, and one is a commercial API. Working across all three has taught me how the technical, editorial and business sides of a web project depend on each other.
My work covers the full stack of running a site: WordPress development and customisation, PHP, payment gateway integrations, API design, technical SEO, and the hosting underneath it all — VPS servers, CloudPanel and Nginx.
What I’m building
GSTIN.cloud and GSTVerify are GST verification products — instant GSTIN lookups, business checks, and an API with documentation and usage-based pricing for developers. GetBusiness and Listingo are business directories that help Indian businesses get discovered. I also build websites for businesses, including GRC and agriculture companies.
Why I write
Most of what I know came from solving real problems on live sites — a payment integration that didn’t behave, an API that needed a pricing model, a directory that needed to rank without thin pages. I write those lessons down so other builders can skip a few of the same mistakes.

Solve a real problem
Every project starts with a specific need — verifying a GSTIN, finding a local business, getting a business online — not with a technology I want to try.
Own the stack
I prefer building and running my own platforms over depending entirely on third parties. It means I understand every layer when something breaks.
Useful over large
Pages and content should earn their place. Scale is only worth it when each page is genuinely helpful to the person who lands on it.
Keep experimenting
New tools, business models, SEO approaches and pricing ideas — I test them on real projects and share what I learn.
